How Is This Sit Stand Control Room Desk Made?
- Quality: This sit-stand desk is built to endure the heavy wear and tear of 24/7/365 control room operations which get 7 times the wear and tear of standard commercial furniture.
- Including metal-to-metal (nut-to-bolt): connections of tops to the super strong aluminum base. Compare to others that use wood screws in particle board.
- Legs: To create a stable sit-stand desk it starts with the legs and base where the strength and durability are created. Our legs are oval-shaped anodized aluminum for strength and good looks. The oval-shaped legs are 8 1/4"wide X 4 1/2" deep with a horizontal beam between the legs that provide superior strength and stability preventing side-to-side wobble. A control desk that wobbles causes loss of concentration and reductions in productivity. It takes 17 minutes to regain focus. Your order will ship on a 53-foot-long truck from the factory in New York. This method of shipment substantially reduces the possibility of damage. This requires a dock high loading dock which is usually 48” to 54 inches high. Does your building have a loading dock? If not, our local installer does and receives your order at their warehouse.
